    Few problems after Firewall Client

    Hi

I installed Win7 and all was working 100%. Today i loaded Microsoft Firewall Client 4 to be able to use it on my office network. After installing i started to have loads of problems. First it was not booting it gave me a black screen after applying the password. I then booted in safe mode and removed the Firewall Client. I then can boot again but it is slow like hell takes approx half a minute and now i have no network onnections (Cable or wireless), can not enable or disable my windows firewall, can not vie event log and so on. How can i fix all this. And i was not able to do a restore from savemode or by the origanal cd.

    Tnx allot

Two things come to mind ... run sfc/ scannow from a command prompt to check the integrity of your system files...

Run a repair install from your installation DVD... Hope this helps...

Did a sfc but could not find anything wrong and if i run a repair it tells me "The version of System Recovery is not campatible with the version of windows you are trying to repair."

Then you need to consider a clean re-install of the OS..
