Im using avast home on my pc. runs fast but the only problem is that interface. I was thinking of going for the free edition on avira. But the issue on that is the pop up window everytime you update the database i was reading. Should i switch?
Every time you do a MANUAL update it pops up.
I think you should switch, avast uses WAY to much RAM anyways.
COMODO is what I recommend.
COMODO internet security 3.10 has AMAZING prevention. Awesome antivirus, much better detection rate than 3.9. LOTS of updates, 3-5 times a day and is VERY light on resources.
You can find COMODO Internet security 3.10 (Free) Here: Firewall and AntiVirus Free Software Download from Comodo (Includes a GREAT firewall)
Avira free: free-av.com
Hope that helps!
i would be using MSE but my only problem with it is that there would always be a zillion updates in the windows update history and that bothers me. is there any way to prevent this?
NOD 32 havemt had any problems yet Norton 360 would not update tech support told me to use beta version but wont offer any support untill it is officaly released but they were happy enough to take my money before they told me this avoid Norton
Before you make any decesions go to virus bulliton thier you can read the unbiased reviews and make a decesion nod 32 came in among one of the best
