    ESET Smart security v4 64-bit.

Works good, no performance impact of any kind and detects everything.

ESET Smart Security Suite works for me too but W7 action center will not recognize ESET firewall and says the AV database is out of date. Neither is true.
Running ESS 3.0.669.0 Cant afford 4.0 at this time

    Good to know.
Figured ESET made 4.0 compatible with W7 so that is would be able to recognize ESET as the security solution that was installed.
Any noticeable major differences between my version of 3.0.669.0
and the 4.03 that you are running?
Really cant afford to upgrade right now I am running the business version and have AV updates available to me for a loonng time

No, other than it works the way we expect, and W7 recognizes it...and thats what matters IMHO!

Unless you have shared folders over a network...then you'll pretty much always know it's there, when and if it allows access.
