Thanks, I think I'll try that when I'll have the time (and guts), at the moment I don't want to mess further with it all for just one program that doesn't install, I may just switch to another free firewall (there are plenty actually which do the job pretty well, I just liked TinyWall for how simple it was). Didn't know about licensecrawler, must try that.

There is two versions of the TinyWall, one for Win 7 and other for Win 10, both with the same name.
TinyWall V3.3.0 is for Win 10 and 11
    TinyWall V3.2.5 for win 7

    TinyWall V3.3.1 for win 7, 8, 10 and 11

Windows Firewall must be enabled as TinyWall is a complement. All other firewall must be uninstall or disabled.
I have win11 and the funny thing is that none of them worked for me except the one for win7

it still gives me this with both versions for Win7 (it says "configuration data of the product are damaged, contact tech support".
as I said, I remember I messed with the registry so I think there's some corruption in there I can't fix
I've found another decent firewall anyway, so it's no big problem, just a nice tool I kinda miss. thank you anyway for all the concern

I don't know neither, I just hope they'll release a portable version, hoping the problem is just on the way my system manages installs.
