Thanks, I think I'll try that when I'll have the time (and guts), at the moment I don't want to mess further with it all for just one program that doesn't install, I may just switch to another free firewall (there are plenty actually which do the job pretty well, I just liked TinyWall for how simple it was). Didn't know about licensecrawler, must try that.
it still gives me this with both versions for Win7 (it says "configuration data of the product are damaged, contact tech support".
as I said, I remember I messed with the registry so I think there's some corruption in there I can't fix

really have no idea about your issue,i just discovered this nice tool and i was trying to find out how to install because all packages gives me some installation error...and then i tryied just for fun the win 7 package and installed perfectly(on my secondary win11 installation)it still gives me this with both versions for Win7 (it says "configuration data of the product are damaged, contact tech support".
