MSE is totally down/end support on Windows 7 ?

    I fixed a 17 year old laptop and installed Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit on it. I directly download MSE from Microsoft and installed it. It shows version 1.393.437.0.

    And again. WU popped up, that is there new version of Definition 1.393.460.0 . So I downloaded it, but after 2-3 minutes it shows again. So I ignoring now and hope, that this disappear after awhile.

    Looks like a bug :-/ .

    And yes, I already tried delete SoftwareDistribution folder and reinstall MSE too.

    Not having any of those issues here. mse updates itself fine. WU is turned off.

    On my VPS I am using integrated Defender, and there is the same issue.
    MSE is totally down/end support on Windows 7 ?-vps_defender.png
    Sooooo. Strange is, that anybody haven't got this problem except all my machines / VPS :-/ .

    MSE appears to be back to normal with how it updates its definition files.
    I can either manually update the definition files or allow Windows Update to do it.

    Ok, from version 1.393.797.0 same update not popping up again . So I think, that this problem was on Microsoft side.

    MSE updated this morning on its own without any intervention from me.

    Maybe, that I am from The Czech Republic? Maybe that was region issue only?
