    MaywareBytes won't update

I have version1.75.0.1300. I've been manually updating every day without a problem. Yesterday when I went to update, I got a pop-up that said, "You have the latest database version." It was the same message today. It's unusual for it to go this long without an update. I contacted MalwareBytes and they won't help because I don't have a paid version. This is a screen shot showing the last database:

1.75 is almost 10 years old. They stopped with end of life support almost 7 years ago so perhaps they finally decided to stop with definition updates. Just a moment... Have you tried a reinstall? I would try their forums. Malwarebytes Forums

I tried to access the forums, but it isn't recognizing my user name or password.

Is there a newer version that would work with Windows 7?

Maybe I don't really need it, it's not an active program. It only detects malware if a scan is run. I do have Microsoft Security Essentials installed which is a constantly monitoring program. I installed the MalwareBytes in May 2015.

It looks to me like it's still supported. I found an article stating that they'd support it as long as possible. If you'd never registered on that forum before you'll have to register.

Supported or not, I can't update the definitions.

I have an account on their support forum, but it won't let me sign in. when I enter the info to sign in, it says, "That user name and password are already in use." I tried to create another account, but it wouldn't let me.

If they stopped providing definition updates to your version then you won't be able to get updates. The reason why I suggested their forum was to find out if they are still doing definition updates because I couldn't find out either way. If you can't login and says that your email is in use then you'll have to use another email account. The only suggestion I have is to try a reinstall. You didn't say if you did that. You can also install the new version.

The current version of Malwarebytes is 5.1.0.102
It's much more bloated than the very old version you have, so you'll have a bit of a learning curve.

And it's no longer named Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    It's now named only Malwarebytes

Malwarebytes exactly, this tool did have the time to notify and analyze the majority of viruses until the adwcleaner tool that fulfills its function.

You need to configure IP address and mailing address as same for anti virus definition to function key. Perform scan as such.
