Needed good antivir and firewall for WIN 7 PRO - in return ESET

Hello strangers !
such a story happened

I used ESET with Firewall reagules, but they left the support of Win 7 PRO :/Additionallyhe began to cause serious problems :/ e.g. to get errors as I had a blue screen type!
+They still turned off me Reports-Firewall WIN :/
When weighing PC-s, the want to download different files more often!

And as if to do something wrong with wines 7 - forcing to change win - hmmmGenerally, circuses like never before... Or maybe there is a method - version for ESET to still work under win 7 pro?

Thereupon - I have a few questions:

what Application anti-virus do you recommend and now to WIN 7 PRO?

and

for the control Firewall WIN 7 with Filter mode
I want it to be possible... Choosing one of this

1/ Interactive mode:

Enables you to build a custom configuration for your Firewall. Probably most folks here either don't bother with AV, or just use Microsoft Security Essentials. It mostly comes down to what you do with Windows 7 at this point in time. Me, I use it primarily for my music-creation machine, but I keep it offline by default, so there is very little chance of malware. I do use MSE and update it frequently. I have it on other machines as well, and they are all offline by default. But I feel safe going online with them for brief periods. Also, I don't do anything sensitive on them, either.

As always, 90% of online safety comes down to user behavior. If you are careful, you don't really need anything but MSE. If you aren't careful, then yes AV makes sense. Or if you are paranoid. I believe Bitdefender still supports W7, and is pretty easy on the CPU. That's what I would recommend.

Avast gets good reviews in group tests, such as one recently run by PC Pro magazine.TinyWall can run on Windows, and provides a "just block everything unless I allow it" firewall.

Using Kaspersky for Years. My Windows is Ultimate 64-bit SP1, updates switched off since installing in 2019. Only a few specific updates were added. Running without problems.

Microsoft Security Essentials constantly runs in the background.
Malwarebytes is manually started every 7 - 10 days to scan for and remove any malware, spyware, tracking cookies, etc. it finds.
This has worked well for me for a long time.
