Windows 7: McAfee not compatible with W7?

actually 8.5 and 8.5i work fine with win 7 both 32 ans 64 bit all you need to do if it is a licensed copy is hit the mcafee site and they can provide you with the patch needed in order to make 8.5 and 8.5i work. i no longer run mcaffee but friends are and its working fine. hope it helps and goodluck

mcafee and win 7
when i log into my windows 7 computer mcafee tells me my computer is not protected, i click fix and nothing happens. my version of mcafee is free from comcast as a subscriber. anyone encountering this problem?

Note that this is the beta software and comprises ONLY Anti-virus and firewall protection. Beta Products | Home & Home Office | McAfee Their forum has some posts about it already. x86 seems to be OK and x64 seems to have one or two issues.
