    Let it go mate :)

Some people just like to be pedantic, and you've already 'corrected' your 'omission'. It's all good

I'm not going to try and work through quoting the mess below, but I will say you clearly stated:

yes, windows FW is stealth regarding INCOMING, but it doesnīt block OUTGOING connections, which is the big problem with most firewalls.
To which I proved otherwise, so then you back paddled and said it didn't do it by default.

I'm sorry, but I'm NOT lying. I was simply pointing out you stated something incorrect. You then changed your story to "by default:

As to being a "word cop", again, you make your posts extremely difficult to read. Why not use the quote feature like everyone else? That's what it's there for and proper punctuation and grammar allows people to be able to communicate with you. If you can't be bothered, then why should anyone bother communicating with you? I'm done with this and I can no longer be bothered.

    hi!

TheIgster: "Guess we agree to disagree"

    no, i donīt agree.

TheIgster: "because you clearly stated Windows Firewall does NOT block outgoing and in fact it does."

the fact is, it does NOT block outgoing connections (by DEFAULT).

i already explained this in my 4th post in this thread: "yes, you CAN block outgoing connections, but it requires a lot of manual configuration.
by default it doesnīt block. "

"Well, that's not what you said. You said it doesn't allow you to and it doesn't, but in fact it does"

i NEVER said that you CANNOT block outgoing connections.

is this too difficult to understand ?

once again, do NOT put words in my mouth !

"And, I would have less problems reading your posts if they weren't such a mess and you quoted properly as I pointed out. Not to mention proper grammar and punctuation. "

may i suggest you take a REALLY good look at your OWN posts, before you start complaining about how other people write....

now that you pretend to be a "language-cop", why donīt you understand what i posted above ?

in english there is a big difference between "does not" & "can not"...

anyway, good to see that you are now obviously running out of arguments, since you are now trying bad excuses for not reading and understanding my previous posts.

however, right now while i was checking my previous posts, i noticed a minor error, that "TheIgster:" fell off from the text while i was editing, i was both tired & upset when i posted them.
but it should be quite obvious to both YOU and anyone else reading the thread who i was replying to...

PLEASE TheIgster, do us all a favor & READ my posts above !

and PLEASE do NOT "put words in my mouth",
which means: do NOT accuse me of writing / saying / posting something i have not done !

the EVIDENCE is in my previous posts above, for those that can read...

Yea! Stealth mode via both GRC Shields Up and SecurityMetrics with Windows 7 Firewall! Edit to Add: BTW, this is with the firewall "out of the box" with no adjustments made.

If you are using the Windows 7 Firewall, to block outgoing, go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Firewall\Allowed Programs and UNcheck the program in the Private column. For additional information about a program, select it and click the Details button.
