computersplus: thanks for the tip, but i already know about it, i read a post (yours ?) in the forum.

however, i don´t mean to be rude, but i don´t want any suggestions about what to use.

my original question was: "i´m going to install Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, which component is the Firewall ?"

i have already found out that it´s call "web-antivirus", now i just need to know if i can use KIS (without FW) together with Comodo´s FW.

PLEASE don´t turn my thread into a new "best A/V..." !
we already have enough of those....
it would be really interesting to discuss running more than one realtime Antivirus & Antimalware-program, but i suggest we do it in another thread.

computersplus -- Oopsie! At 4:59 of the video, the Compatible with Windows 7 Logo comes up. Only one problem, Hitman Pro is not listed by Microsoft as having passed the compatibility tests. hackerman I was not trying to hijack your post or turn it into a best av discussion you've already found the best av as far as I'm concerned, I was only making a suggestion as stated earlier for an extra tool as you obviously like using multiple tools.

i did the kis 2010 beta and i was very happy with it. stable, solid, reliable, easy to configure. if you have a license for it i would use it in place of every thing else you have listed there, however i would keep winpatrol. it is a great program to have.

not to be rude but just like with xp, and vista you will find most programs not listed on the compatibility list. i personally have never bothered with that list.

no, i´m not replacing all the other programs, i just want to use KIS instead of Avira & MSE.

btw, last night i found some info on Kasperky´s forum,
it seems that Comodo´s FW can be used if you first install KIS and then Comodo,
or if you run the installation without checking for other non-compatible programs.

but, i still need to know if Comodo´s "Defence+" works with KIS.
