    Giving this one a try now. Had some trouble with Comodo as well as trying out Kaspersky Internet Security. Had to reinstall my OS after KIS crapped out at 13% during a full scan and I could not get my Internet back...

    PC Tools Firewall Plus seems to be running very well and was easy to configure to let uTorrent through for connections.

    As you can see by the attached image, I'm running at about 34MB of memory for anti virus, anti malware support app and firewall. Very nice and light combination offering excellent layered protection and mostly free...:)

    Nice to hear.

    Works right out of the box, very silent, no nagging whatsoever.

    EDIT: There you go.

    Sweet setup you have going there.

    I'm also thinking of trying Avast when version 5 goes gold.

    Although I'm extremely happy with Avira right now =).

    How to block an individual url in PC Tools Firewall?

    Win 7 Pro (32), A-Squared 4.5 paid, PC Tools 6.0.0.88 . No other anti-malware.

    With Online Armor FW (Trust Everything/Learning Mode..., allowed an unknown trojan!)-
    I could block banner advertising in Hotmail by right clicking/Properties..., and block the actual url in OA Options...

    I REALLY like PC Tools FW, but I can't figure out how to block this annoying banner advertising?

    Can this be done?

    Scott ?

    I'm Ron Burgundy?

    Hey Scott...

    I'm pretty sure you can.

    You might be better off going straight to the source for this one though.

    Re: Although I'm extremely happy with Avira right now..

    Hey Ron:
    Thanks for the link to the PC tools FW forum!- I just made a post on how to block a url?
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    My two cents worth on Avira-
    I too was happy with Avira paid (paid has web/mail guard & faster updates), until their updates became slow/iffy & weird errors?
    I gave A-Squared free/on-demand a try (#1 97% detection/removal rate!)?- a-squared Free - Free of charge Anti-Virus, Anti-Trojan, Anti-Spyware, Anti-Dialer and Anti-Worm Software - Freeware!
    It found 6 malware that Avira missed (MBAM free found 2 more malware!), and several tracking cookies (a privacy issue with me!).
    I liked A2 free so much, that I decided to give A2's full blown 30 day trial a try?-
    Pros- With 3.5 million definitions/heuristics, it keeps malware off, and it's fast!
    Their Surf/Web guard blocks/rules several bad websites/content... a day! Recommended to activate "Intelligent Alert Reduction"?
    Cons- Once in awhile their hourly auto-updates need to be kicked off manually once daily on startup, and then a reboot a few minutes later (also following a virus scan)- same with Avira...
    I disable A2 for program installs/updates, or it bombards you with alerts!-
    I also pre-submit all downloaded .exe's to Virus Total!
    G'day
    Scott
    My name is not actually Ron lol.
    I was just messing with you (since at the end of your post you said: 'Scott ?')
    Just an attempt at a Anchorman movie reference.
    Never mind. Glad I could help .
    Not anymore.
    They have a completely new update system in place.
    Works like a charm.
