This has been happening for a few weeks now and is still happening- random popups open up in a new tab and sometimes some websites are redirected. And I ran the scan after a popup appeared so I knew the problem wasn't gone. So I guess there is no solution at all?

So I'll have to live with this problem as it still happensI've tried the flush /dns thing but it still happens.
Unfortunely I think only thing left is Reinstall.
Ok, I am now fed up with Windows getting infected with viruses and having to do a complete reinstall, even with the best anti-malware software. I guess I'll have to switch to Linux, Linux Mint seems to be worth a try.
