Well should I click on Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only....Or Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select? Thanks. They BOTH say "TURN ON" no turn off

I have Turn On for all "programs And services" aswell.
I have only on exception to the program which isn't compatible with DEP

DEP - Turn On or Off for Programs - Vista Forums

same to Windows 7.

Just put turn on DEP to all programs except those.
To exceptions you will put programs which you find can't work with DEP ( when you try to run those program it will be closed and you will be notified that DEP closed it.)

Same here. The program that needed excluding was added via a DEP popup if I'm not mistaken. It's been a while
