What does the Vista Firewall Control do? I downloaded it, but I don't want to install until I know what it does.

It enables you to allow/block outgoing connections for applications. It's similar to Zonealarm application control. VFC is a good addition to the Windows firewall.

Even if an anti-virus is only created in 32-bit, it still works fine on a 64-bit operating system.

Also I use Microsoft Security Essentials (Morro).

    Its anti-malware + anti-virus

I'm a long time Comodo user, but it appears that the firewall has problems running in Win7, does anyone know of a firewall+AV bundle for Win7? Or at least just a firewall.

    Cheers
Why do you not just use Win7Firewall.

avast Home edition seems to be popular, it's what I use on 7 x64, seems to run without fail, though I never really entertained the idea of using the Windows firewall... I had always thought that there was a reason a firewall was included with most security suites.. but I think I might give it a shot.
