Avast Vs Nod32
hey guys im just wondering do i have to have
Nod32 and avast runnig at the same time
because it takes up quite alot of CPU avast soo just wondering thanks

I recommend just using one virus scanner. Using 2 at the same time can cause problems and it will indeed put more load on your computer. If you bought Nod32 you might as well just use that. If you're just doing the free trial then I would just stick to Avast. I've been a loyal Avast user for years though. I've never had a problem with it.
shortmantuff is right. Never use more than one av at a time. I've had great luck with Avast also.
well I used to use avast a long time ago, and If I remember correctly I liked it a lot at that time. These days I'm using ESET Smart Security, which is NOD32 AV, Anti spyware, a firewall and antispam. Sort of a like "an all in one suite".
I recommend that you stick with NOD32, If you like it, personally I find it to be light on the system and for me it's install and forget. It does an excellent job protecting the system "behind the scenes".
