Both are good. However, they wont work together. I have tried it and it causes issues.
ive been running them together for what like a yearr i havnt had no problemss but i just wondered if there was a point in running avast and nod at the same time

It's never good to have two resident antivirus programs. You can have them, but only one resident and the other one just for scanning. If you want that I can recommend you A-Squared Free Antivirus, which does not work as resident.

I recently did a fresh install of W7 Ultimate 64-bit, and as I have done...
I received a Taskbar Notification Area message that says "Solve a problem with NOD32 Antivirus System". I have never installed this product. I am using the latest AVG free antivirus program.
This occured on Build 7201.
What should I do about this?
