You should only be using NOD32.

Norton uses it's public versions to build up their corporate versions, this is why Norton has a very trust worthy enterprise use around the globe.

NOD32 is currently top of most review and detection rate tables and its light on resources and dosnt' block or disrupt net speeds or bug you.

I had to admit I found this statement really funny.
"You should only be using NOD32."
    lol... What do you mean?
Why we should only use NOD32?
Maybe we also should give monopoly over AV market?

I personally have nothing against NOD32, I admit it's great product.
But saying to someone that he should ONLY use some product and mislead them is too much.
First of all, where we can see OP asking for advice on which product to use?
He was only asking why Norton had bad reputation...

Yeah, we should all now stop using Norton, so they can't use us to build their corporate product.
Honestly, who cares? All AV vendors do this! Even your beloved ESET does it...
Sorry, I know I am being offensive and off topic, but common guys, stop posting misleading informations like these.

And there is no way we could compare NOD32 with NIS, because they are 2 different categories.
One is AV, another Internet Security Suite.
Both of them are great, so user should choose it himself.
Nothing like use this one ONLY!..

    Sorry again.

Sorry, I believe my local sacasim is not fitting in to your style :P

I meant that as an off joke, im a NOD32 fan boy, its brillient and I have converted many Norton users over to NOD32.

But yea, people can choose any AV/ISS they want really.

Yes he was asking about Norton only, but why should we stop there, we should be stepping outside the box and go further then "bescause XX or ZZ"

Yes all companies build enterpise definitions like this however Norton do it to the point where Enterprise is stronger/better at detecting then retail, so the public lose out.

I am on jav side. Its al ones own perspective on what they want. I have worked with Symantec and really know what they are upto. This doesnt mean I have to support them and use their products.

To be frank, I am using MSSE and Malwarebytes. Only my desktop uses NIS 2009.

If this wasn't such an asinine statement, I'd have ask for links and other sources to support this ridiculous comment.
