    Can I use Avast with Norton 2010?Is Avast is light AV?


    I m using Norton 2010 but thinking to take Extra security.
    So should i use Avast with it or MSE ????
    Which one will be lighter & better ???????

    It is not advisable to use two Antivirus programs at once as it may cause conflicts. Choose one or the other and stay with it. My personal opinion is that Avast is a LOT better than Norton's.

    Avast, in my personal opinion, IS better than Norton.

    More people have issues with Norton, than they do actually successfully using Norton.

    If you'd like something Safe-to-run Side-by-Side with Avast, I'd recommend ThreatFire. It's a Free "Addon" for current Security Applications.

    can u tell me what problem... because my success rate is 100% with NIS2010.. and i installed it on many pc i cant remember without problem.. now elaborate ...

    Such as what? Please specify and give examples. I'm currently running Avast! on all my OSes, both 32-bit and 64-bit, and I haven't had any issues whatsoever.
