The Bitdefender auto reply mail says they will take upto 48 hours to reply to my query. Hope its not just another run-out-of-the-mill reply.
In the meantime you see that I have already stated to you Norton and AVG's Reply, both of them focussing on x64 compatible, not x64 native. I am also going to contact Kaspersky Labs and Panda today. As I already have a Valid Kaspersky license I think I will get an express reply from Kaspersky. Follow this post, guys and see where the water rolls of 8-)

Safe Run Mode(kis 2010) doesn’t work with Microsoft Windows XP x64, and works with limitations on Microsoft Windows Vista x64 and Microsoft Windows 7 x64.

The drivers are 64 bit, but the application is still 32 bit. There is no limitation because of that. Situation normal, all good.

Everytime I read this thread, my head hurts. I can't believe it's still open.

It's so nonsensical and we're pretty much spinning top in mud here.

G-Data (one of the best detection rates)
F-Secure
Panda
VIPRE (Sunbelt Software)

All provide 64 bit versions. I don't know if any of them are 64 bit native or if any meet your needs.

I'm wondering exactly what improvements and changes have been made that might make it worthwhile to upgrade. I don't much care about cosmetic changes, only in those that actually make the program work better. I took a look at the Acronis website, but didn't find a change log, only literature to...
