Windows 7: Mcafee over MSE

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with SP1

I never had any luck with McAfee's products. Norton 2010 doesn't seem to use a whole lot of system resources. However, some of their older products, 2008, 2007, etc. did. What I'm interested to know is how long it takes different vendors like Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, etc. to make signatures for this newly released threat "Here You Have". If McAfee already had it covered as of yesterday, then some of these other vendors should have also had a signature for it (if they didn't before it was released).

I run MSE and Avast together, Yes they run together without any problems and what one misses the other picks up.

I have never liked the idea of running 2 anti viruses at the same time but I would do this before running Mcafee.

If you still are trying to decide on McAfee...have a look at what I experienced tonight. McAfee isn't satisfied with targeting XP and 7, now it's gunning for Vista

McAfee now hoses Vista

Seriously...How is this company still in business?

Getting rid of McAfee
I used IObit Uninstaller v2.1 to uninstall McAfee AVplus and Security Scan Plus from my computer. I was wondering if this would totally remove these programs? Also can anyone recommend good antivirus software that will not interfere with IObit Malware Fighter Pro? Thanks for any help.:)
I have had problems with virus attacks all my life but when McAfee worked for a while I thought I could relax... Then, after a year or so, I keep getting this message: "Your Computer at Risk. Firewall is off." I click on "Turn-on" and I get to a page where it shows it has turned on...
