No, it really doesn't. Malwarebytes will catch things in real time that MSE does not if you are running the pro version or even when just running the free version and doing an on demand scan.
And how is MSE supposed to cover what Comodo Firewall covers? MSE has nothing to do with acting as a firewall. It's an AV only.
While Windows Firewall is OK for incoming - just OK- it is definitely not easy to configure for outgoing. And that is why I don't use it. I'm flitting back and forth between Comodo and PCTools firewalls.
Oh yes I do. The only time I ever had any infection of any kind on my computer was when one of grand kids downloaded a Trojan. I caught it when ZA stopped it from connecting to the internet. I also used outgoing to block WGA. Both PCTools and Comodo do a great job of alerting me when a program tries to connect to the internet.
My vote goes to Norton :)
