    Yet another "which is best" thread. Gotta love it. :)

    It does serve the purpose of getting a series of comments going on which (of the near equals) is preferred, so no flag, no foul.

    I'm a bit paranoid, and go to some dodgy sites for research in security so I use the following:

    MSE
    IOBit 360
    WinPatrol (to tell me when something tries to install an ActiveX control or startup)
    Malwarebytes - weekly or more often scanning
    Windows 7 Firewall Control - to tell me when something tries to phone home.
    COMODO DNS servers.

    All of the above are on my main x64 system, the same on my x32 system, with the exception of COMODO as a firewall. (I use different solutions to see what works best in the environment, and like the 32 bit version of COMODO.)

    Avira and Malwarebytes, and I have SUPER Antispyware on the side to restore user permissions if necessary.
