Pretty weird. Did you clean install or upgrade the 32?
We need someone with a virgin x86 7077 to confirm it's there or not maybe.

The 64bit 7077 simply replaced the 7000 version of that since I still haven't been able to connect online without the drivers needed. As I thought however what you have there is limited to the 64bit 7s. With a quick reboot here I came ran across two identical entries.
Now that's a little odd having two identical dwords probably seen when replacing the previous install not an upgrade but replacement by custom.

Hi guys,
I've just been looking through this thread & i've found that I don't have Explorer when i navigate to the above mentioned key
Running (fairly) clean install of 7077 x86
That was never put into the 32bit 7 from the start apparently since the MS intent there was focused on the 64bit 7. If you look around at some different blogs MS is taking notice of what percentage of users have bought the 64bit Vista and are now looking at that for 7.
I'm waiting to see which build will be first to actually see the option available. Until then... Log On Screen - Change[2]=Appearance Personalize
I have Malwarebytes picking this up in my Vista x64 last October when I got my current machine. I looked it up and have it set to ignore it.
The early 7 stages would obviously be carry overs from Vista to start with showing this was something first being looked at in the previous version's 64bit edititions there but never implemented. With the long delay seen with Vista release they simply passed that up to move on from there.
The one thing to look forward to with the actual RC1 and even if there is a RC2? would be the compilation from all development labs to get a good idea of what the finished 7 will look like. When putting the 7077 on here for a look at just how far 7 had come along from the 7000s it was great to see it making some real progress!
I reported this quite a while back as a false positive, after ascertaining this was Win7 related as opposed to DisplayFusion related.
NH - those are not identical - one ends in Desktop and the other continues on with something else. Expand the column....
Yah, that is the general idea - ignore it and be happy - then you won't hae future problems when upgrading, unless of course there is a new, differently named key that it detects.
BTW: I was helping Marcin test a 64bit version of MBAM last night, and we are to continue it tonight....
I shoudl have rephased that to finding two similar entries since one stops at the NoActiveDeskto... and expands further there. Once I reboot into the 64bit 7077 I'll edit in a better view of that.
