The time to image your drive is immediately after you have reinstalled your OS and programs, this way no matter what happens, you can restore your system to that "just installed" state.

In your case, I would format your drive and reinstall the OS... this will remove all traces of your virus, then I would make an image and store it to a separate drive or partition... Good luck...

Here is a video tutorial I made to show the complete imaging cycle with Macrium - in my book the easiest and most reliable way for straight forward imaging. Imaging with free Macrium

Unfortunately it will not help you in your current situation. This is something you have to plan ahead - next time.

Yup i Did a clean install....

ok, when i open an installation file...it usually says :
"The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
This could be a result of a damaged disk, failed download or a virus."
    or
"The programme is used internally by PackageFromTheWeb. It should not be executed directly"
I suggest you get an installation disk from someone else to which you can apply your product key.

It won't remove the virus per say. What it does is return to your system to it's ideal and optimal state

This could be a result of a damaged disk, failed download or a virus.
Let's try testing your hard drive. Download of of these tools and run a scan: Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage) - TACKtech Corp.
