Malwarebytes is what I use and have for quite some time. I "rarely" have any issues...but this seems to keep everything squeaky clean.

MBAM is probably your best bet. But it can't replace a good A/V tool either. I usally run both MBAM and Avg at once to catch anything that tries to slip through.

definitely. thanks guys!
hi !
well, if you look at previous posts in the forum, the most recommended is MBAM.
but, i suggest a-squared: http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/
why ?
because it has a lot better detection-rate than MBAM...
but why choose only one ?
it´s much better to do what i & others do, get multiple antimalware-scanners.
if fx. a-squared misses something then MBAM might find it etc.
we must remember that no antivirus / antimalware-program can detect everything,
that´s why it´s so important to use more than one program !
I must be the lone decenter in against recommending Mbam. Dont rely on it solely. Use a mix of other malware programs such as superantispyware, spybot, etc.
MBAM+Spysweeper+a good AV like kaspersky Pure..is a strong protection..
I agree with hackerman1 and swarfega.
While I don't use a-squared, I highly recommend it.
