Any third party firewall will have the potential to conflict with any other active malware program you have running. If not now, they will only be a few up dates away from conflicting with something in the future.
MS will tell you NOT to run other security apps real time with MSE, except for something like Sandboxie. Just because they are not in conflict now doesnt mean you wont be in for REAL trouble in the not to distant future.

If that is the case, then MSE will have let you down. A Guy

IMO if you are using Norton360, you have a great firewall, that will not conflict with the malware remover(s) contained within Norton360. I know I am going to hear a ton of flack about Norton360, but been with it since McAfee failed me. I'm talking about the old time McAfee before Symantec bought them out. And as far as AVG, Avast, etc free protection goes, do some reading up on those programs, for example WHICH lab(s) tested them to verify their ability to ACTUALLY protect your rig(s)? Norton/Symantec has decades of proven track records. TRUE they, as well as others can't guarantee you 100%, but that is because new malware is out basically hourly.

Not sure what you are trying to say. What im trying to say is windows firewall for vista and 7 is more then strong enough, and will vastly improve system stability comparred to a 3rd party firewall running with other realtime anti malware programs.
