    For those with a Paypal account

    Their is a email floating around disguised as Paypal trying to get your email address and password if you click on the activate button on the email it will pull up an identical paypal page. It Then asks you to enter your email address ( I entered a fake email address) then it asks for your password. (I entered a fake one here) Then it asks for you to verify your credit card information.
    Now I know it won't fool almost all of us but I thought I would share it with the community. I have already reported it to Paypal. This is the body of the email. Oh I also changed all my login information afterwards. IF THIS IS INNAPROPRIATE PLEASE REMOVE. Fabe
    Hello,
    We recently noticed more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address.
    If you accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts may have been initiated by you.
    However, if you are the rightful holder of the account, please visit Paypal as soon as possible to verify your identity:

    Click "Activate" to verify your account (It only takes a minute.)

    • Another way to activate your account: (THERE IS A YELLOW ACTIVATE BUTTON HERE}
    You can also verify your account by logging into your PayPal account at: (AND A PAYPAL IP ADDRESS HERE}

    If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choose but to temporally suspend your account.

    We ask that you allow at least 24 hours for the case to be investigated and we strongly recommend to verify your account in that time.

    Thank you for using PayPal!

    Thanks for the heads up, but one is a bit of an understatement, I'm always getting them asking me to log in for one thing or another.

    I'd never log in to anything that holds such important information, through a link in an email.

    Thanks for letting us know. I forwarded it to my wife who has a little PayPal account for her crafts. I myself do not have one.

    Well this is the first one I've received ( which I referred to as A ) and I'm certain their are many. As I'm certain all of us would delete it. But not everyone on here is as diligent as most so that's why the post. Fabe
