ICMP Flooded? :S

    ICMP Flooded? :S


    Hey,

    My new antivirus has just gave me a popup saying "Wireless Internet Connection is ICMP Flooded." whats this? i quickly looked it up, like a Denial of Service attack almost? O_O can someone help me?

    What antivirus are you using? Is it Avira?

    1) Go to Avira's configuration, tick Expert Mode, Firewall, Adapter Rules, ICMP Protocol, at the "Assume flooding if delay between packets is less than" change the setting from 50 to 5.

    2) Do a full malware scan with avira as well as malwarebytes antimalware.

    I also have this problem...following instruction but after going to firewall cannot see adapter rules and ICMP protocol to change settings?

    No worries....found it :)
