Yes, it does have a link scanner but I have seen it only supported IE cause I still don't have Firefox installed when I installed AVG 9.

Short answer - No.
It is part of AVG's program only.
Real answer: yes and no.

It is available as a standalone product but it has been reported to conflict with Avast!'s web shield.

I use McAfee site advisor for the purpose. Although I am not a big fan of the McAfee security suite, but that bit works pretty well and is completely stand-alone.

It's not very effective anyway.

It may not work any better but I believe Dr. Web LinkChecker does not conflict with Avast!

I suggest you read the question again that was asked.
To the best of my knowledge the AVG LinkScanner Active Surf-Shield is AVG's registered product & is thus not a "stand alone" product.
Therefore - The correct answer to the question asked was "No."
If you have other evidence please supply it.

AVG LinkScanner - Free Internet Security

Edit: It may not be considered 'standalone' because it is basically AVG9 with all but one shield disabled.

I Installed avg 9 I am using AVG LinkScanner my question is when I go to a site is their a indicator box which comes to tell you a good or bad site

PAE Support Checker
This is a very simple console program, which checks if your processor supports PAE. On x64 processors, the program will always say that PAE is supported, but I would just like to see how it works on x86 processors, especially older processors.
