I have no problem to turn it off or turn it on. The problem is that I get security warnings even though it is off. This never happened when it was turned off before.
I can help you with the Grey box on the left, I get those even with XP.
You just right click on the installer select properties & then choose the option to "Unblock"
I did and it worked, but you should not have to do it when you are an administrator. Something is strange. Could it have anything to do with hardware as the motherboard?

anyway to sto these messages popping up
on previous builds there was a little box you could uncheck.
This gets really annoying if you are accessing any site with partially protected conted - https stuff etc.
