    What's the better antivirus for windows 7 x64 ??


    Hello ! I need a good antivirus for my laptop.. And I saw in other forums Avira is the best Can anyone tell me other sugestions ?

    There are many. Every week someone asks the same question. I suggest doing a search and you will get all the info you ever need.

    Some of the contenders are, Microsoft security essentials, ESET smart security, Avast, AVG, and many more. Everyone has a afavorite.

    All AVs, whether free or paid for, are only able to detect malware if the signatures are present in their databases. That is why it is especially important to ensure that your AV updates its database at least on a daily basis.

    As do most of the other AV's....with the noted exception that others may not run as flawlessly or with as few system resources.
