Way to much green going on there.
I agree but does protection not matter a lot more? You don't have to look at the UI for long at any given time.

I've wanted to use KIS for a while now, but just can't justify paying a yearly subscription for it. MSE and Malware Bytes seem to work just as well for a lot cheaper.

I might take the plunge one of these days. Good to see they are keeping updated.

Thanks for the update. I hope my KIS 2010 key works with it.

Total bullshit product. Causing CPU hikes all the time n slowed down browsing when enabled anti banner. Back to MSE n Avast!

Just updated, bought 2009 disk almost a year ago upgraded to 2010 a week later now 2011 is out and they don't have the goofy counter on there listing 999 network attacks in one day - ect. As for the green look one of the kaspersky forum members will probably make an alternative skin in the near future. Another nice feature is they really didn't change the layout of the settings panel drastically so it was just as easy as 2010 to configure.

It only uses 16MB of RAM compared to MSE which uses 50MB+ :)

What about CPU and I/O read/write? They are far more important than RAM.

Nice GUI and easier navigation to boot. A little green though but a trademark. I notice that my 32 bit system has a feature called "Safe Run for Applications". My 64 bit system does not. This feature must not be compatible with 64 bit systems.

I'm using NIS 2010 but I tried KIS 2011 when I see this post but it's just a disappointing product which clearly slow down your system performance.......
