    Hey Guys,

    just wondered how many of you have encrypted your hard drives. Is it some-thing you would advise every-body to do?

    Use the free and excellent TrueCrypt software. Advise everyone to do? No, only if you need to keep data from prying eyes for any reason.

Hi , I encrypted a USB pen drive and it's all fine. I'm concerned though if encryption increases the chance of file corruption over time, i.e. if eventually I won't be able to have access to the files due to file corruption.
