AVG Search Toolbar ?

    AVG 9 installing?


    derekimo downloaded the 32 bit uninstaller,tell me do I run it ut will uninstall follow the steps
      My Computer

    1) Please make sure you have the new one saved to your desktop. (This will limit the time you will be unprotected on the internet while you uninstall)

    2) Run the uninstaller, following the steps.

    3) Reboot, it may or may not ask you but that is the best way to make sure it cleans it all from your computer.

    4) When you reboot and get back to your desktop, run the installer to reinstall.

    5) Choose standard installation, when you get to the box that wants you to install the toolbar and set yahoo as your search provider, uncheck both boxes.

    It should look something like this below.

    Let me know if there's something you're not sure about.

    Correct. Uncheck both boxes.

    I'll be honest with you after you install I really wont be much help as for the

    settings in AVG because I'm not using it myself, I'll try to help as much as I can

    but the video you were talking about might be a little more help with that.

    How do you mean it didn't work?

    Try saving it to your desktop, then right click on it, run as administrator.

    Here it is again,

    derekimo it didn't work when I ran it it came up a log file prompting me to type?

    I right click on it, run as administrator same deal

    What does it say at the end of the file that you downloaded?

    It should end with .exe
      My Computer
