    Bitlocker: Lock an Unlocked Drive

This is good and looks like it would work. What does one do tho if the "runas" key is already being used for adding "Take Ownership" to the right-click context menu?
M$ should really update this as not being able to re-lock a drive without re-booting (or re-starting explorer.exe) is ridiculous!

    Hello Mark,

You can use the Take Ownership context menu used in the tutorial below instead. It does not use the "Run As" key.

You might also see if this may be able to help you to suspend (unlock) and resume (lock) Bitlocker protection at will. See related links as well.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks Shawn..
What I did was create a new .bat (manage-bde -lock d: ) and saved it to c:\windows
    I created a new key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell called "runas(2)"
Then followed the rest of his guide and it works!
