Rich thanks again. I'm trying to load a picture for my profile. The pic is 18.6 kb. Every time I go to save the pic it says upload failed. The pic can be seen in the profile spot but not when I go to post. Any Ideas??

Do you mean the profile at the forum or computer?

How do I set signatures, avatars and profile pictures?
You can set and change your signature, avatar and profile picture in the User Control Panel (providing the administrator has made these options available).
For signatures, click on 'Edit Signature' under the 'Settings and Options' area of the navigation bar within the User CP.
To select an existing or upload a new avatar, click on 'Edit Avatar'.
To upload a profile picture, click on 'Edit Profile Picture' in the 'Your Profile' section.

If it fails it is too large (too many kb or just too many pixels), I had the same problem.

The profile pic and the post pic are different. You have to download two.

The Avatar (post pic) is done from user cp (avatar pic) The profile pic is done from user cp, profile pic.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

Hi, rottikid.

The profile picture did upload. I think what you are looking for is the avatar. You can find that information in the link richc46 posted above.

don´t apologize !
it was only a suggestion, so you could get better help....

if you create a new thread named fx. "Fake MSE-alert", then you get more attention from those that can help you....

if you post in this old thread, perhaps a lot of people doesn´t see it, because they are just looking for new threads.

So I notice MSE v2 is released. I have v1.0.2498.0 installed, and when I press UPDATE only the definitions are renewed. I don't know whether to uninstal old one and instal v2.0.657. Thing is I've never had any problem with the old one, and if it ain't broke.... Anybody got any thoughts...
