    Problems using WinStyleBuilder?

    Hi all,

I am currently using the windows style builder to change the colors of things I cannot see easily in windows explorer. Stuff like the highlighted color used in Vista/7 when clicking on files etc. Look a little playing around, but I managed to figure out most of what I wanted ("hot" means the color shown when your hover the mouse over the file, etc.) My 'progress' as such can be seen in the first picture below. I have a lighter blue for my hover (media folder), a darker blue for my selected file, and a grey for my selected-but-not-focused (the folder I'm in, but the focus is in the content area on the selected file.)

    First Problem
As you will see by the second picture below, I cannot find out how to edit the hover/selection colors of the right-click menu. Please can someone help me with this?

    Second Problem
When I save the edits I have made in WinStyleBuilder, it saves as a .msstyles file and allows me to start using that visual style. The problem is that none of it has been saved. If I click onto a different theme and then go back, I just have a regular theme and have to re-change all the colors again, and re-save/re-apply the visual style. Surely I must be doing something wrong, and there must be a way to save your edits?

    Third Problem
Through messing around, I've managed to create some new, useless these in the 'My Themes' section of the Personalise Desktop area which I can't seem to get rid of. One of these also appears to show up in the 'Installed Themes' area too. How can I delete these?

#1 Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics
    HIGHLIGHT:COLOR
    HIGHLIGHTTEXT:COLOR

#2 You need to use a different theme than the one you are changing or making be sure to logoff & on before working on a theme then it should save OK

#3 go to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes & see if that stuff is there & delete it

Sorry about #1 I was wrong it's at Lists, Menus & Tabs > Menu > PopUpItem > Hot

#2 Try going to Personalise and choose a Aero theme that you are NOT changing with WSB than logoff /logon or restart your PC then edit the theme you are making and see if it saves if not uninstall and reinstall WSB and see if that helps.

Where are you saving the .msstyles file at ?
need to save it at C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\YOUR THEME
