i have a custom background for the first uxres and i want the animation bmps to be transparent
i want the black background BEHIND THE ANIMATION to be transparent so that my wallpaper can shine through

Basically BMP's are not natively transparent.
But there is a way to make BMP's look transparent by using a mask color (normally Magenta [FF00FF] is used). Any parts of the image which is magenta is rendered as transparent.
