Is there a way to install Windows 7 themes without applying them?

Stupid question but is there a way to install win7 themes without applying them at the same time? I have a handfull I've downloaded as themepacks and I would like to add them all at once without having to apply each one as I go.

    Thanks

All my 3rd party themes consist of a folder and a .theme file.

I just copy them to the C:\windows\Resources\Themes folder. When both files are in the folder, they will show in personalize window

Its not at all a stupid question :) .
Do as A Guy said. Just before proceeding, you have to patch three dll files , in order to copy-paste the file folders (theme & msstyle.dll).

There are 2-3 patching softwares are available; you can try this: Click here (Softpedia link).

Oh, I had just downloaded a bunch of themepacks over time from MS site. I had just hoped was a easy way to install them all at once.

If they came from Microsoft they wont need patching, just copy or drag them to the folder A Guy stated in his post above.
    They don't require installation
