    Taskbar customization


    Hi people,

    I want to rid my desktop of icons so I can see my whole wallpaper. So I found out that I can create a drop down (up) menu on the taskbar of my desktop icons. But now my question is if I can make 2 of those, games and programs.

    Do you mean you're displaying the Desktop toolbar on the taskbar? I've been doing that since Windows 98 and don't know why others don't do it. Anyway, you can add toolbars to the taskbar.

I am trying to get my taskbar to store recently opened items but when I right click on the start menu and select properties I see that the check box is greyed out! I have no idea what I did to make it greyed out and more importantly, I have no idea how to get it back so that I can enable it again....

103296Can anyone help me remove some of the separators from the right side of my Windows 7 taskbar. There is too much space in one area and I think eliminating the multiple separators will bring the icons closer together.
