    yer mate, easiest method first then if all else fails sfc /scannow. actually tho i think i would try a system restore first

    Yes, but most of the time users forget to create a restore point before patching files :)

    Anyway, does this theme work with 7264 x86 because I couldn't install custom themes when I was in build 7260.

    Always create a restore point prior to making changes

    well for wot its worth it didnt work in my 64 bit 7264 (dont know about 32bit), i replaced the required dll's and copied the folders as per instructions then rebooted. windows wouldn't start so following my own advice i did a system restore, problem solved! :)

    luckily i have system restore turned on all the time (i'm happy with my system performance) otherwise always create a restore point
