Thanks for fixing the issue with 7600 x86 I'm about to install now.
No problem Cashis, just make sure you've removed all the old bits first and the backups (in the system folders) it created from trying it the first time round. It'll tell you it's already installed otherwise.

I can confirm that these x86 dll's work fine for me now on 7600 385. I didn't use the installer. I'll use it next clean install. Great job guys! Thx so much! Appreciate all your hard work!

    Hmm didnt work for me

X64 7600, downloaded proper pack followed instructions to the letter, disabled UAC, installed, rebooted, nada, zilcho

Slightly gutted about this as I use your icon pack on my dock Mr.Grim.

EDIT: Completely disregard the above, I forgot to reboot after disabling UAC...DoH!!!

    Working great, thank you
    :)

Just tried all the other versions with installing AIM and it is just 7100 affected.

System001, Have you experienced any Explorer.exe crashes on the x86 verison of the build? It could narrow the problem down maybe to just x64 if you havn't. (& thanks for the appreciation btw!)
EDIT: or did you not get chance to download it before I just disabled the links for 7100?...
Just tried to install yesterday, no luck. had a $%#@ of a time getting back into windows. i am like you i do not believe it is the winstep apps that are the problem. i believe rockers team modified win 7 is. it is enhanced. i did manage to find my own workaround thought. so no harm, no foul. others that are still having problems might want to try it.

Does that Property Editor thing change the shell only or does it also change the icons?

    please help me

to change the folder icon i had use "regedit" (hkey local machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\shell icons) i had createt a new "string value" with the number 3 and 4 and with the path of my new folder icon. so whats the number / numbers for the other icons?

Sorry but I don't know, I just made the .dll's install within Windows.

You could try downloading ResHacker and open Shell32.dll and look under 'Icons' for the relevant icons maybe.

Okay I found out that these folders are livefolders called!

    In "regedit" use "livefolder_back" / "livefolder_front" / "livefolder_data" to change it.
(You need a back and front side icon)
