I actually really like the way the pirate looks... Is there a way to add a differnt logo in there? or actually a link that has custom start buttons to look at? Or even a link to see if I can attempt to put my student photoshop to use and see if I can accomplish making something
Yes you can, with this particular one it has a layer, which entails a glass orb, under that you can replace the image, now if you wish to learn how you can go (Here) or (Here).

Pm me if you need a hand

Soon as I am done with my school assigment I will do the patching and restore point stuff...

Those are really nice mate! They will need converting for it to be used in Windows 7. Let me know if you want a specific one converted?

Pierre, that is not possible The Orbs are EXE files, which i cant unpack, or do anything with (at least not with winrar)

I think I found out a way to extract the bitmaps from the executables..

It seems we need this file

    SteelFlash 100k.zip

Now after downloading the steel flash100k.msstyle
put the start button executable of your choice together with the steel flash100k.msstyle inside the same folder... after doing so.. open the steel flash100k.msstyle using restorator.. and under the image tree go to 471 475 479 to locate the start button images.. :)

NOTE: the images are in PNG.. so I think they won't work with windows 7 ? since windows 7 use BMP ?

    err...
I don't know what I'm talking about again..
