UXtheme isn't working - all themes revert to Aero

    The Desktop Window Manager Sessions Manager may have been disabled because of using the classic theme not sure.
    I think the Repair Install may be a good idea. Let us know.

    Jerry,

    I had the default Aero theme selected and had all Aero features turned on, so that's not it.

    I'll try a repair install if I can ever get Windows to let me do it.

    No one who can help seems to be looking at my new thread... hopefully soon!

Hi, My Dads Laptop has some issues with themes. I try to select the theme 'Windows 7' or 'Windows 7 Basic' and it will give me the windows classic theme in white. Why is this? The only theme that i can select is the classic theme.
Hello. I got stuck with this Classic skin with no working explorer Window, causing all attempts to change themes again to an Aero theme not to work. Is there any way I could change to Aero without any access to the Personalisation page? That page is loaded in Explorer, and Explorer doesn't work...
