Windows 7: Is there a theme without the lens flare effect on taskbar items?

Is there a theme without the lens flare effect on taskbar items?

I find the standard Win 7 themes, with the high amount of white-on-white text in the task bar from the 3D lens flare effect, to be very difficult to read, and the mouse hover adds even more white, making it even worse.

The only alternative I've seen so far is the high-contrast theme, which is too extreme because of the other desktop elements that it modifies. Does anyone know of a theme that makes the task bar more readable?

Thanks in advance!

I can change that for you, using Windows Style Builder and post it here in a zip folder. I can remove the white glow affect on the taskbar buttons and I can change the text color also.
This will be a custom theme and you will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.

I need a name to call the custom theme also.
Let me know.

Here's a 3rd party theme that is easy on the eyes.
It's called Luna Silver yet when you install it, it's called Luna Metallic.
I use it on a daily basis due to poor eye sight.

New theme causes strange zoom out effect
Hello, I tried applying the dark high contrast theme that comes with Windows 7 in order to minimize eye strain. I love the look of it, but now the text in my browser URL bar and the tabs in the browser seem much smaller than they were on the old theme. I may have done some customizing of that a...

Can't pin items onto the taskbar because of a program on the taskbar
Hello. Let me explain my problem. I had a program installed called Spiral Knights, and I pinned the icon onto the taskbar so I could quickly launch it. When I was done playing it for good, I uninstalled it and it looked like the icon was off the taskbar, but it wasn't. When I tried to put...

Does a lot of icons in the taskbar effect performance?
I like to keep an entirely clean desktop, so to do this I have all my apps down in the Windows taskbar. None of these items are in my startup, BTW. Anyway, I;d like to know if keeping a little over 2 dozen icons in the TB will effect performance in any manner?

Disable 'stacked buttons' effect on taskbar?
When you set taskbars buttons to 'Always combine, hide labels' in the right click->customize menu, and you have several instances of a program open, it makes a 'stack' effect for each additional instance. I personally find that effect quite ugly, though I do like the always combine option. Any way...
