Windows 7-Bug with setting custom sounds and themes

Ok so I decided to try 7 and got it working fine.
Started porting my sound theme settings which work perfectly under Vista x64.

However, for some reason, after setting the custom sounds into Windows 7 and saving it as a theme, some of them refuse to play. COMPLETELY. To make matters worse, some functions of the custom sounds don't even work.

    Example:

Select-When I put a sound there, no matter what sound, it will never play it. It is supposed to play the sound whenever I select an icon or click on a file in a folder. It does in Vista x64. Here, it doesn't play under ANY condition.

It also doesn't seem to play some wave files. For example I put a couple of files for the Open program, menu pop ups, and a few others. They play SOMETIMES. That should be the case as it should ALWAYS play.

Windows start and a few other functions also don't work.

Please help. If you wanna test it yourself, try putting a file thats less than a second long, like a click sound from the menu in Counter Strike.

Are they files .wav files or some other format? WAV's can easily become corrupted, if that should happen, some codecs cannot properly process them. Try loading your sounds into an editor and re-saving them.

I did resave them. All of them. Into Wave 16bit mono files @ 44100Hz. Still no luck.

Some of them play sometimes. I mean if they play once, they will keep playing. But sometimes they REFUSE to play after a PC restart and I can't get them to.

Others, they don't work no matter what you do to them.
