This error could be Macrium or Windows related. Try re-installing Macrium first. If you continue to get the error:
    • Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations.

System file check came back clean.

Open an Elevated Command Prompt and run the following command in the command line:
    vssadmin list shadowstorage
to see if VSS is working as it should. Post a screenshot of the results.

Volume Snapshot Service or Volume Shadow Copy Service is what allows system restore to function properly and backups to work correctly.

Are you still getting the error you spoke of in post #50?

You could try the built-in Windows system image backup feature. Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

I found Paragon to be a bit more complicated, but it may be easier for the restore, which is where you seem to be having difficulties. There are a lot more options, which is why I say it is more complicated. There are some good Youtube tutorials for Paragon if you want to go that route. Paragon Backup and recovery free edition 10.1 tutorial - YouTube

Acronis has some mixed reviews. I personally do not like it because it writes itself into the Windows backup feature and can be difficult to remove (due to how integrated it becomes with Windows) if you do not like it. Many on here have used it without problems and really like it while others feel as I do. It is more personal preference, so you should try it out for yourself before deciding for sure.

I would recommend trying Paragon first since it is free. Just my two cents. :)
