    Weird problem with Aero effects

Hey guys, i really have a weird problem in hands.

When i turn my laptop on everything runs smooth and nice, and when i close the screen it suspends, as it is normal. Now when i log back in into windows the theme got messed up. The Aero effects are now disabled and when i try to solve problems, Windows says it can't find any. Besides this, my whole computer is running the old windows style, in the windows, toolbar, everywhere. This only happens, as i said, if i suspend it and turn it back in. I don't know what to do. even knowing that re installing windows would fix this, i dont want to put it as a first option, so i am here requesting for some help.

here's a picture of how is my computer ambient right now.

    Thanks

    theduardo,
    Welcome to SevenForums.

    One:
    Update your SevenForums specs.

    Two:
Upload following and I'll tell you in advance, you are not going to like my recommendataions (opinion formed by looking at the pics in your post).

    ============================================
    Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec
    (left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

Add the word laptop or desktop or netbook to the
    “system manufacturer” block, for example,
    Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
    MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.
    ===========================================
    ============================================
    Install CCleaner:
CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

    list of STARTUP PROGRAMS

    CCleaner | Tools
icon | Startup button | Windows tab |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
accept Startup.txt as file name | SAVE button

    list of SCHEDULED TASKS

    CCleaner | Tools
icon | Startup button | Scheduled Tasks tab |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
enter Scheduled Tasks as File name | Save button

    List of INSTALLED PROGRAMS

    CCleaner | Tools
    icon | Uninstall button |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
accept install.txt as File name | Save button

    UPLOAD the startup.txt file
    UPLOAD the Scheduled Tasks.txt file
    UPLOAD the install.txt file.

    HOW TO UPLOAD
Post a File or Screenshot in Seven Forums

Thanks karlsnooks for your support. I've already updated my system details and i am leaving here the CC info. Schedule.txt is empty due to no scheduled tasks at the moment.

    Thank you once again

First, let me say that I've never seen a system with the programs which you have installed and the programs listed by startup.txt that does not have scheduled tasks.

How about doing me a favor and going back and checking to see if there aren't some scheduled tasks.

If you don't have a tab for scheduled tasks, then you need to update your CCleaner.

You also need to update your Firefox, although that is not related to your problem.

    Uninstall:
    Code:
avast! Free Antivirus AVAST Software 18-03-2012 7.0.1426.0
DAEMON Tools Lite DT Soft Ltd 13-01-2012 4.45.1.0236
    Java(TM) 6 Update 29 Oracle 20-11-2011 95,0MB 6.0.290
    software tmn Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd 31-10-2011 11.302.09.08.84
Spybot - Search & Destroy Safer Networking Limited 12-04-2012 1.6.2
    µTorrent 31-10-2011 3.0.0
    REBOOT!

Your version of Java is out-of-date. If you have any software that really needs Java, you will be prompted to install same and this time you will get the latest version which also fixes many security problems.

Install, and only use, MSE Microsoft Security Essentials. Link in my signature.

WIN | type MSCONFIG | ENTER | STARTUP tab
    Uncheck ALL
    REBOOT!

WIN=key with Microsoft logo on top.

    ===============================================

You will continue to have malware problms with P2P software installed:

    REMOVAL OF P2P PROGRAMS

There are signs of one or more P2P (Peer to Peer) File Sharing Programs on your computer.

As long as you are using any form of P2P networking to download files, you can anticipate malware infestations.

References citing the risk of using P2P programs:
How cyber criminals infect victims via P2P with pirated software on Vimeo
    Malware: Help prevent the Infection
    Perils of P2P File Sharing
How to Prevent the Online Invasion of Spyware and Adware

I strongly recommend that you uninstall:
    µTorrent

    ======================================================

After completion of all of these steps,
post a fresh copy of the three .txt files.

And report any performance changes (definitely you should have a much faster startup time).

    thanks,
    karl

Hello again, i've already did what you said except one thing. I did not removed Huawei software because i need it, it's for the internet.
After this, the computer continues to have the same problem, with the theme. Besides this, i have another problem lol, the wifi symbol is like there is no internet but the internet is turned on actually. I've already tried to fix this but with no luck.
Okay, lets focus on the main problem. I'm leaving here the .txt's so you can see them.

    Thank you

    Good.
When you first got your system, the system worked fine.

Slow performance is caused by installed software, malware, and inadequate hardware.

Since you did not make a system image when your system was working so that you would always be able to return to that state, then we need to approach the problem differently.

First, we will go at the easy one.

Uninstall any anti-virus, any anti-malware software you have installed.

Install ONLY Microsoft Security Essentials, MSE. Link to MSE in my signature.

Run Windows Defender Offline, WDO. Please click on the link in my signature. Microsoft provides a marvelous site with a great explanation. I do recommend installing to a USB rather than to a DVD.

WDO will first run a quick scan. When the quick scan finishes, then run a full scan of all drives on your computer. This will not be quick, but a necessity to guarantee that you have no malware.

After completing these steps, let me know the status.
    thank, karl
