How can I change the Start Button with Theme?

Okay, so, as you can see by my Sig, Prof and Avi, I have a bad obsession with Visualisation. A while ago, I ret up my Win7 desktop to allow the use of custom Start Buttons within the Theme. I can't figure out how, or what I did it with. Any ideas? I have UnivesalThemeChanger installed. But that just allows me to use my own custom themes, without custom buttons. I don't want the program that does it, but the patch that checks the theme files for custom buttons. This is only for recreational purposes. (My friend has a radio station, and he wants me to create him a radio-theme for Win7. He has the same obsession, but not the skills. ) Please help, no files over 5mb, as on mobile phone. Thanks!

    Rangi.

Okay, if my phone did this right, there'll be an attachment. In the rar, there is 3 images of my custom theme. As you can see, I'm running the theme right now. I created this theme, when my computer allowed me to do this. Oh, and when making themes, which file needs to be edited to change the default Explorer bg, eg. Remove the horrid white? I use Resource Changer to do my file replacing. Thanks.

To change the start button, the procedure depends on the incorporation of the start button in the theme.

If the start button is supplied as a .bmp image, you should use Windows 7 Start Button Changer to change it.

If it is supplied as a .png image, use StartOrbz .

And, if it is already incorporated in explorer.exe, and supplied with the theme, try System File Replacer to replace the explorer.exe.

    Hope it helps.

Thanks, DavieSta. I don't mean to sound rude, or un-grateful. But that's the program, not the patch. I don't want to use that program every time I design a new theme to test. And the files show inside my images change the Start Orb, back and foward buttons, search bar etc. I just need the patch that does it all inside the theme, of course, with the needed files. I don't want to edit the .dll's in the system, as I have a bad habit with curiosity. Thanks, will be back later. It's 4:12 am Saturday here. Rangi.

Sheesey, if you want to change the back/forward buttons etc, there is no other way but patching the explorerframe.dll And for start button it is to change the resources of explorer.exe, however the modification or patch may be applied.

There are some theme installers which can do it. You may follow hoe those are coded .
