Win7bootupdater isnt working on my netbook

i have home premium windows 7 installed on my hp mini 200 4200 netbook (2gb ram) and ive downloaded windows boot updater so that i can change my boot up screen - text and animation to mimic alienware and match as i have a 3rd party theme alienware darkstar running.

ive loaded the alien head gif/bs7 file thing and changed the text to say alienware and it says its successfully patched/updated but when i turn on my netbook the windows logo animation is just gone and the bottom still says microsoft instead of saying "loading alienware"

is it because i have a 3rd party theme which is preventing it from displaying? im completely lost here as its working for others on youtube with the same version of windows and i dont know what im doing wrong as the tutorials of it look identical to what ive done

    The Background Image

The background image is a 1024x768 full-color image. The size cannot currently be changed. It takes a moment for it to show, and the background color may be visible for a brief moment, so make sure to pick a color that is suitable.
What is the screen resolution of your notebook? Specs look to be 1024 x 600 pixels. This could well be the issue. A Guy
